POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Chief Executive Officer is primarily responsible to oversee the operations and functions of Comunet and lead Comunet towards the achievement of its objectives. This includes driving the strategic direction of the organisation and mentoring the management team in the achievement of team goals.

This position has the primary purpose of managing the responsibilities and functions of the management team within Comunet, and overseeing the performance of each business unit and integration as a whole. Success in this position will be determined by fulfilling the key performance indicators listed further in this document.

INTERNAL

  • Lead the management team

AUTHORITY

This position is authorised to make decisions that fall within the scope of the Comunet Business Plan in liaison with the management team. All other decisions and authorisations will need to be referred to the Board of Directors.

  • Maintain presence as an industry leader in IT services

  • Will be required to comply with Comunet’s policies and procedures and hold the team accountable for these.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management position
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a small-medium enterprise
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing client relationships
  • Demonstrated success in business development activities
  • IT literate and aware

DESIRABLE

  • Demonstrated experience in a professional services work environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the IT services sector
  • Tertiary qualifications in management or business-related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects
  • Demonstrated experience in a strategic role
