Passionate about all forms of Technology, Alexei loves the thrill of developing elegant technology solutions aligned to business outcomes. Having held senior roles across Retail, Product Management, Distribution and Technology Strategy – he brings keen insights into organisational impacts, with a key ability to define, plan and deliver on objectives across multiple disciplines. Alexei enjoys his role as an educator being an active presenter across forums both locally and across Australia to help clients, partners and staff understand the value that can be gleaned with technology. Passionate about building local economies, his drive is to continue building mutual success for both Clients and Comunet through a collaborative, people-led approach.

Ben’s passion is working deeply with stakeholders to define, design and deliver quality IT services and solutions that add value to their business. Leading our team of consultants, he brings over 15 years of IT experience to ensure our team focuses on doing what’s best with clients, unburdened by any formal sales targets or vendor requirements. Ben holds an MBA in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Telecommunications) plus numerous IT management and technical certifications. A consistent high performer, Ben drives a commitment to excellence across the teams and oversees the relationship structures with our clients.

Frances has extensive experience in various industries including commerce, professional services, not-for-profit and government. Having led high performing multidisciplinary teams, Frances brings an understanding of cross-departmental synergies, corporate governance, analysis to drive strategic business decisions and innovative technologies that support the success of Comunet and its Clients. In the past 20 years, she has held senior executive roles of Head of Finance & Corporate Services, CFO and Acting CEO. Frances is a Fellow CPA, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds a Master of Applied Finance and a BSc Economics with Honours. In her spare time, she is a volunteer Director and Treasurer for the Birthing Kit Foundation of Australia.

Karin has been with Comunet since 2005 and in that time been instrumental in the software development, analyst and product lead roles for various products and projects within Comunet and sister company Avinet. Her current focus is finding pragmatic applications of emergent technology for clients and Comunet. Karin has extensive experience in fields such as data, AI/ML, project management, and cloud computing. She also has a personal interest in advocating a greater involvement of women in IT and debunking the myths of programming being a, wholly, nerdy pursuit and is actively involved with HerTechPath in order to help achieve these goals.

Neil has over 17 years experience in the IT industry, and has been with Comunet since 2014. He has a background in security and communications, and has held a number of leadership and ICT Management roles. Heading up the Cyber Department, Neil is a qualified Lead Auditor in ISO standards 9001 / 27001, Prince 2 Project Management, ISC2 CISSP, and is AWS Solutions Architect certified. Neil provides cyber advisory services to a range of organisations including aviation, local government, legal, medical, Not-for-Profits and manufacturing.

Tony brings a wealth of experience in software development and project management across diverse sectors and solutions. As the Head of Software and Projects at Comunet, he leads a dynamic team focused on driving digital innovation and delivering top-tier solutions in software development, AI/ML, data, and modern workplace platforms. Tony's expertise and leadership have been pivotal in the successful execution of numerous projects, significantly enhancing Comunet's industry reputation for excellence. With a rich history in the field, Tony has spearheaded various high-impact projects and initiatives. He is renowned for his strategic thinking and his ability to guide projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. He also enjoys Guinness and knows that football is only played with a spherical ball.

Peter brings over 20 years of operational and managerial experience in the technology industry to Comunet. Throughout his career, Peter has progressed from working at a service desk to holding senior leadership roles. He has led teams across various technology fields and has extensive experience working with customers and technology solutions. His background includes positions in large multinational companies, diverse international markets, and local government operations. Peter is passionate about technology and its solutions, cars and motorbikes, and has a unique fondness for the office coffee machine. At Comunet, he leads the service teams and managed services solutions.
